In the Indre et Loire department, on the site of Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire, Synapsun supplied the photovoltaic modules for carports installed in the car park for employees of SKF, a world leader in the field of mechanical bearings.
The project, developed and built by Eiffage Energie Systèmes, covers an area of 12,000 m2 and comprises 14 carports structures with a total of 5,641 bifacial photovoltaic modules with ECS. This project won the CRE5 PPE2 self-consumption call for tenders.
The total installed power is 2.5 MWp and will generate 2,750 MWh per year, 100% of which will be consumed by SKF, which will therefore secure part of its energy costs.
This installation will result in a reduction of 154 teq CO2 / year.
