In 2020, Synapsun supported the contracting and then supervised the production and delivery of photovoltaic modules for the LEVROUX solar park developed by NEOEN.
The park occupies 11.4 hectares and is built on a water catchment site
It is made up of 25,700 photovoltaic modules arranged in 450 tables resting on concrete beams.
This solar plant is part of a magnificent region between nature and historical heritage, such as the Château de Valençay located 20 minutes away.
For this project, Neoen chose low-carbon modules with bifacial cells. These modules are able to capture light not only from the front side, but also from the back side, thus maximizing production.
The installed capacity is 9.74 MWp and will generate 11.5 GWh per year, equivalent to the annual consumption of 2,500 households. It will prevent the emission of 9,000 tonnes of CO2 over its entire lifespan.
Founded in 2008, NEOEN is the leading independent French producer of renewable energies and one of the most dynamic in the world. A pure player in renewable energies, the company is present in the solar, wind and storage energy sectors, with cutting-edge expertise in each of these sectors.
NEOEN is involved in all stages of its projects: design, financing, project management and operations. The company maintains over 85% control of its assets and operates them on its own behalf.
