The plant was the winner of the fifth installment of CRE 4 “photovoltaic installations on buildings” calls for tenders and benefits from a 20-year electricity buyback contract.
This solar power plant project represents an investment of 240K € carried by ALTER Energies, who also operates it.
It was carried out on the roof of the new large sports complex of Beaucouzé including a sports hall, a basketball hall and a badminton hall as well as annex rooms (changing rooms, meeting rooms used by clubs and associations.
766 solar panels have been installed and are expected to produce 254 MWh per year which will be injected into the Enedis public grid.
ALTER wanted to involve the Angevins through a citizen fundraising to help finance its two solar power plant projects (Angers ice rink Beaucouzé sports complex). Launched on the Lendopolis website, “the pot” brought together. 121 people for a total amount of € 50,000. Each participant paid an average of € 413 in the form of a 4-year loan rewarded at 3.5% per year.
