Project presentation
In Saône-et-Loire (71), in the communes of Gueugnon and Rigny-sur-Arroux, Synapsun supported the contracting, supervised the production and ensured the delivery of 40,500 DAS Solar DH144NA modules
modules for the Gravières de l'Arroux floating solar power plant developed by Verso Energy.
Located on a stretch of water formed by former gravel pits, the plant makes the most of an unexploited area while actively contributing to the region's energy transition. With a total output of 23.2 MWp, this photovoltaic power plant is based on Ciel & Terre floating structures equipped with Sungrow inverters.
Winner of the fifth tranche of the PPE2 “ground-mounted solar power plants” call for tenders, the floating solar power plant will generate 24.7 GWh of electricity per year, equivalent to the average consumption of 5,500 households. Thanks to this production, it will avoid the emission of 741 tonnes of CO₂ per year.
Commissioning is scheduled for late 2025, with the connection fully secured and all planning permissions obtained.
