Launch of the new Synapsun generic ranges
The new range ranking is online !
1/ Why a ranking system ?
Since March of 2023, the products on synapsun.com have been grouped into "generic ranges" to facilitate your sourcing experience. Modules from different manufacturers with similar characteristics in terms of technology, dimensions and power are grouped together under a single range.
The arrival of new cell formats (rectangular cells), the different options available (full black, agrivoltaics, etc.) and the diversification of Type-N technologies (TOPCon IBC, HJT, etc.) have led us to revise our classification system to better guide your choice of modules.
2/ What's in it for your projects ?
You secure the development of your projects by working on a range of products rather than a specific reference.
In the consultation and purchasing phase, you can choose between multiple qualified manufacturers for the same product. In this way, we guarantee you the best price and availability conditions, with maximum reliability.
In the procurement phase, if the supplier is not available, you have several alternatives at your disposal.
3/ How are the ranges constructed?
Here's what a generic range looks like:
Range nomenclature is constructed in such a way that all the characteristics of a range can be identified by its name alone.
Here's how to decode a range name:
- First 2 digits of module width (in mm)
- First 3 digits of module length (in mm)
- B for bifacial / M for monofacial
1 character for technology :
- T for TOPCon,
- P for PERC,
- H for heterojunction,
- I for IBC
2 characters for the application:
- ST = standard,
- FB = full black,
- TR = transparent (modules with cell gaps that let light through)
- AG = agrivoltaics PV,
- LW = low weight
Example:
JA SOLAR's JAM54D40/LB, measuring 1762 mm x 1134 x 30 mm with the following features:
Bifacial, N-Type TOPCon, belongs to the SYN11.176BT-ST range.
